The KHL approved the distribution of 505.3 million rubles (almost $7 million) among the league’s member clubs at Monday’s board meeting in Moscow. The funds came from the KHL’s TV and commercial rights.

On April 30, the Board of Directors voted to approve a new mechanism for loaning players.

Next season, the KHL will be back to 24 teams. The news was confirmed at the meeting of the league’s Board of Directors on March 31.
