Danil Aimurzin scored five goals as the KHL RUS Stars powered to victory in the 2026 Fonbet KHL All-Star Game. The U23 Stars grabbed an early lead in the final, but Aimurzin singlehandedly turned it around with four straight goals. Earlier, Grigory Dronov was the center of attention as KHL Ural Stars beat KHL World Stars in the third-place playoff. In the Skill Show, Neftekhimik head coach Igor Grishin won the inaugural coaches’ challenge, with Dronov and Vladimir Galkin winning their events.
U23s and RUS Stars advance to All-Star Final
The opening day of the All-Star Weekend in Yekaterinburg was as action-packed as ever. In the four-team tournament, the KHL U23 Stars beat KHL World Stars, then KHL RUS Stars outshot home favorites KHL Ural Stars to join them in Sunday’s final. The Ural team picked up a point in the Skill Show thanks to Alexei Vasilevsky’s folk-inspired attempt, with Sam Anas and German Tochilkin also winning their events.

2025-2026 KHL FONBET Season Schedule: 68 games, 182 match days, and playoffs through May 23
KHL.ru presents the regular season schedule for the 2025-2026 Fonbet KHL season. Each team will play 68 games, and the total number of game days — 182 — will be the second highest in league history. From the start of the season to the first break, teams will play on 94 consecutive game days, and the average number of games per day will be the lowest ever at 4.11. Dmitry Kvartalnov could become the first coach to reach 1,000 games in the KHL, and both Sergei Plotnikov and Andrei Stas will also have their 1,000th appearance in the League.

Chernyshev wins All-Star gold
The 2025 Fonbet KHL All-Star Game finished with Team Chernyshev winning it all in Novosibirsk. Sibir defenseman Trevor Murphy’s hat-trick led the way, and Sibir captain Sergei Shirokov potted the game-winning goal. In the bronze medal game, Spartak’s junior star Sergei Lukyantsev was voted MVP after picking up four points in Team Tarasov’s thrilling win over Team Kharlamov.
Big day for Shirokov as Novosibirsk enjoys All-Star party
Sergei Shirokov, Sibir’s popular captain, was back on home ice for the 2025 Fonbet KHL All-Star Game. And he made the most of the big occasion, scoring a hat-trick in Team Chernyshev’s semi-final win over Team Kharlamov, and winning the penalty contest in the Skill Show. Team Chernyshev will face Team Bobrov in Sunday’s final after Sochi’s Timur Khafizov scored three in a 9-6 victory over Team Tarasov.
