The KHL presents the logo and identity for the 2026 Fonbet All-Star Week, which runs Feb. 6-8 at the UGMK Arena
Yekaterinburg, in the heart of the Urals, draws together three key elements: mineral riches, an industrial powerhouse, and cultural heritage. Historically, the city is renowned as a center for mining gemstones and copper. It is the birthplace of the writer Pavel Bazhov, whose tales offer the world a unique view of the Ural Mountains, malachite and the mystical powers of the Earth.
Hockey is one of the city’s top sport and in 2026, Yekaterinburg hosts the Fonbet All-Star Week for the first time.
The logo for this season’s spectacular is inspired by several symbols of the host city, represented in its design, shape and color scheme. One of the main elements, tying it to the local landscape, is the graphic silhouette of a mountain. The hexagonal shape echoes the cutting of Ural gemstones, especially emeralds: the Sverdlovsk Region is the only place in Russia where these stones are found. The palette – malachite, copper and black – reflect the mineral wealth (copper is a key Ural resource) and their industrial significance. In addition, copper tones reflect the UGMK Arena itself.
Sergei Dobrokhvalov, KHL Vice-President:
Every year when we develop the branding for the Fonbet All-Star Week, we dive deep into the history, traditions, familiar images and distinctive features of the host venue. For Yekaterinburg, this includes the region’s industry, the Ural Mountains and their gemstones. All of these symbols have found their place in the branding for this event: the logo, the patterns, the color scheme and other elements. This year’s Fonbet All-Star Week has an elegant, memorable identity and I’m sure that fans will appreciate it.
The pattern for the All-Star Week features mountainous silhouettes assembled into a complex multi-faceted structure that generates dynamism and highlights nature’s geometry. This element has an inner glow, as if a gemstone was catching the light, evoking the depth and noble shine of an emerald.
This branding will form the basis for a special souvenir range, which can be ordered online or purchased in person during the event at the UGMK Arena.
