HC Vityaz Will Not Participate in the 2025-2026 Season

A total of 22 teams will take part in the upcoming Fonbet KHL season.

Hockey Club Vityaz (Moscow Region) has informed the KHL of its decision to suspend the participation of both its KHL and JHL teams in the 2025-2026 Fonbet KHL Championship and the OLIMPBET JHL Championship.

The KHL Board of Directors will review potential changes to the list of participating teams in the Fonbet KHL Championship. Following this, the KHL Management Board will consider the possible transfer of HC Lada from the Eastern to the Western Conference.
