Each of those three are down 2-0 in the series and have produced precious little offense. Two goals for Torpedo, one goal for Spartak, and 0 for Jokerit just isn’t going to cut in the KHL playoffs. A loss today will make the fourth defeat little more than inevitable, right?

The Latvian franchise was among the surprises of the 2018-19 season and lacked only one point to qualify for the postseason. This summer, Dinamo lost Mathew Maione and Linus Videll, but they were substituted by American and Swedes new players. The 2018-19 season was an experimental one for Admiral. The change in the team's boards and off-ice problems didn't allow the Far East franchise to reach the playoffs. In the offseason, the team shuffled its roster and confirmed Sergei Svetlov as the head coach. Admiral can look at the new season with optimism.
