The KHL World Games in Davos – two weeks to go!
One of the biggest rivalries in the KHL is rolling into Davos on Dec. 23 as the latest instalment of the KHL World Games.
The KHL World Games project began last year in a bid to introduce the league’s top teams to fans in Western Europe. In Vienna and Zurich, the players of SKA, CSKA, Slovan and Dinamo Riga played four regular season games and also took time out to stage master classes for kids. The directors of the International Ice Hockey Federation and several other national federations were impressed by what they saw and asked for more KHL games to go out on tour.
This season, the action will continue in Davos, Switzerland. In just two weeks, Salavat Yulaev Ufa and Ak Bars Kazan will take to the ice at Eisstadion Davos for the latest instalment in one of the most passionate rivalries in Russian hockey. It’s a meeting with a tradition of high-class action on the ice and passionate support in the arena and, on this very special occasion in Switzerland, there are even more surprises in store for the fans.
Tickets for the game are available online, costing from 10 to 40 Swiss Francs. Children under 6 can go for free with an accompanying adult, while schoolchildren and teenagers under the age of 19 can claim a 50% discount on the ticket price.
