In the 3:0 Amur’s win over Sibir of Wednesday, Huska posted his first shutout of this season. Earlier, Kalnins was awarded Best goalie honors in 2016-2017 fifth week representing Dinamo Riga, and the 2019-2020 fifth week representing Jokerit.
- Best defenseman for the first time in his career was Grigory Dronov (Metallurg), who scored 5 (3+2) points in three games last week. The Magnitka blueliner posted points in each game last week, potting the OT game-winner against Traktor. He also blocked five shots.
- Best forward for the first time in his career was Marat Khusnutdinov (SKA), who scored 6 (2+4) points in three games last week. Khusnutdinov scored points in each games last week, boasting a four-point performance in SKA’s 7:4 win over Ak Bars (1+3). He also recorded two hits and blocked seven shots. The SKA forward also potted the game-winner in the showdown against Ak Bars.
- Best rookie for the first second in his career was forward German Tochilkin (Kunlun Red Star), who scored 2 (2+0) points in three games last week. He also recorded two hits and blocked two shots. Tochilkin was the fifth Dragon to be awarded the Best rookie of the week honors, following Pavel Vorobei (twice), German Shaporev, Alexei Toropchenko, and Alexander Perevalov.
