Dinamo Minsk has replaced one North American forward with another. The new arrival is the highly-experienced 30-year-old USA international Jack Skille, whose resume for the past ten seasons includes tours of duty with the Blackhawks, Panthers, Blue Jackets, Avalanche and Canucks (NHL totals: 374 games, 43 goals, 42 assists).

Meanwhile, the man leaving the Belarusian capital is 31-year-old Canadian Rob Klinkhammer, formerly of the Blackhawks, Senators, Coyotes, Penguins and Oilers (NHL totals: 193 games, 22 goals, 21 assists), who has opted for a spell with Ak Bars Kazan. In exchange for Klinkhammer, the Minsk Men receive financial compensation and the rights to another ex-NHL man, former Avalanche, Coyotes and Predators defenseman Stefan Elliott, 26, who joined the Kazan club in the 2016-17 season.

Elsewhere on the transfer front, 20-year-old center Artur Gizdatullin has also decided on a change of country, departing from Chinese VHL club Tsen Tou Jilin and returning to Amur, and former Severstal forward Maxim Trunyov has joined Spartak on a one-year deal.
