Alexei Morozov, President of the KHL:
- We are excited to present fans with the roster of the first-ever KHL World Team, composed of international players competing in our league. The league is grateful to the clubs and players for their enthusiastic response to the call-up. Together, we have assembled a strong team that will provide competition to the national teams of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus, increasing interest and attention toward the tournament.
