- Best defenseman for the third time in his career was Maxim Chudinov (Spartak), who scored 2 (1+1) points in three games last week. The Spartak newly-signed defenseman recorded four hits, blocked seven shots, and had one takeaway. Chudinov posted no negative ratings, ending the week with a plus-3 differential. Chudinov was already awarded best defenseman honors – in 2011-2012 seventh week while representing Severstal and in 2013-2014 first week as a SKA player.
- Best forward for the third time in his career was Nikita Gusev (SKA), who was last week’s top scorer with 6 (3+3) points. He also blocked one shot, and had one takeaway. In the game against Torpedo, Gusev potted a double, including the game-winning goal.
- Best rookie for the first time in his career was goalie Timofei Korolyov (Severstal), who won one game of two last week. Korolyov faced 46 shots, or 23 per night, posting a saves percentage of 91.3% and a goals-against average of 2.03.
