Spartak, CSKA hit the ice again!

Preview
Spartak is a new team since Igor Grishin took the lead after the Boris Mironov’s firing, but they lost the Moscow derby to CSKA on Friday despite going ahead after less than 100 seconds in the opening frame. However, the Red-and-Whites are showing some good, consistent hockey and Lokomotiv is on a four-game losing streak – the home crowd will try to push their idols to return to victory and accrue some points to further cement their position in the West’s top eight.

Later, Vityaz takes on CSKA after a win over Torpedo on Wednesday. The Vyachesav Butsayev’s men had some nice games this season, but also a couple of losing streaks, and they are still trying to get that kind of consistency to qualify for the playoffs. They are currently the sixth seed in the West, but a game against CSKA is always hard to deal with. On their hand, the Muscovites are on a three-game winning streak, and they will be on the lookout for the fourth straight victory.
