Admiral seeking fourth straight win!
The KHL matchday starts with two Far East games, with Amur hosting the St. Petersburg franchise and Admiral welcoming Traktor. The Tigers will try give SKA a second disappointment after losing to Admiral – they have already defeated Dynamo Moscow, and they will be on the lookout of a second straight victory to gain points and get closer to playoffs contention.
The Sailors, instead, are currently the fourth seed in the East, and its fans are likely to expect yet another victory tonight when Traktor comes to Vladivostok – after defeating SDA, anything is possible.
The action then moves to Novosibirsk, where Sibir hosts Dynamo Moscow – both lost their last match, and will be seeking revenge in a hard-fought game.
The Western Conference will also host three games. First, Kunlun Red Star will try to get back to win hosting Avtomobilist. Then, Torpedo hosts Ak Bars for another exciting confrontation. The Igor Larionov’s young lineup has been plagued with injuries lately, but they indeed managed to defeat Spartak on Monday, and they are still the fifth team in the conference.
A showdown between Severstal and Neftekhimik closes an exciting KHL Thursday, with six games on tap.
