Fonbet KHL All-Star Game uniforms unveiled

The Kontinental Hockey League presents the uniforms for the four teams that will compete at the 2022 Fonbet KHL All-Star Game in Chelyabinsk.

Jerseys

Each team’s jersey is a combination of two colors: gold and white (Chernyshev Division), white and silver (Tarasov Division), black and gold (Kharlamov Division), silver and black (Bobrov Division). The choice of colors is due to the Chelyabinsk coat of arms, which depicts a golden camel on a silver shield. Plus, the classic black and white were added – those are traditional Traktor colors, and the strictness of this combination refers to the tight connection between local hockey and industry.

The appearance of the 2022 Fonbet KHL All-Star Week jerseys was conceived with the participation of designer Vasily Ivanov – the author of Metallurg Magnitogork’s logo and the uniforms for the 2020 All-Star Game in Moscow. A special feature of these jerseys is the atypical colors for Russian hockey: combinations of gold and white, black and gold are almost never seen in the style of Russian teams, while silver was used only in experiments.

Special elements

In 2022, the players will have the 2022 Fonbet All-Star Week logo on their chests, and on the shoulders will be division logos and logos of the clubs represented by single player.

Special mention should be made of the fonts used for the names and numbers on the uniform – they are stylized as a stencil, once again paying homage to the Chelyabinsk industry: stenciled fonts are usually used in manufacturing when writing markings and industrial designations.

Players’ jerseys are perfectly matched with other elements: gloves in the color of the uniform become a visual extension of the jersey sleeves, helmets are also made using the palette used for the uniform.

Fan jerseys
