CSKA, SKA seeking home wins!

Preview
The KHL matchday starts once again in the Far East, with Admiral hosting Spartak. The Sailors are in a good shape, and won their previous couple of games, against Avangard and Vityaz, respectively. Spartak instead is in a less favorable position, with two consecutive losses, including at home against Salavat Yulaev on Tuesday (2:5).

The action then moves to Kazakhstan, where Barys welcomes Metallurg. The Andrei Skabelka’s men are on a three-game winning streak and defeating Magnitka may be an excellent way to get to four and climb up further in the standings. However, Metallurg will want to return to victory after an OT loss to Ak Bars on Tuesday.

In the Western Conference, both CSKA and SKA hit the ice tonight. The Muscovites host Avtomobilist as the Motormen just lost in St. Petersburg on Tuesday. The Roman Rotenberg’s men welcome Kunlun Red Star. The Dragons have defeated CSKA twice this season, and while they failed to make it three on Tuesday, they will be more than happy to repeat the trick against SKA, even if the first clash of the season ended in favor of the St. Petersburg franchise.
