Metallurg trying to revert the trend with home game against Ak Bars!

Preview
The KHL matchday starts in the East, with Magnitka facing Ak Bars for a classic matchup. Both teams aren’t in their best phase, with a two- and a three-game losing streak, respectively. However, Metallurg is currently the highest seed so far, and not without reasons. Kazan has been struggling, in particular with its offense, which is particularly beefing considering the team’s moves this summer.

Later on, in Moscow, Dynamo hosts Severstal. The Steelers are in a disappointing ninth place so far, but their motivation to return to the right side of the playoffs line may be not enough to get the best of the Blue-and-Whites, who have already defeated them twice this year after last season’s showdown in the playoffs first round.
