Game between Avtomobilist and Lokomotiv cancelled

Official Kontinental Hockey League’s communication about the cancellation of a regular-season game.

On Jan 7, Avtomobilist underwent follow-up testing, and two senior team players, eight farm team players who were in contact with the first team players, and six club representatives had positive Covid-19 PCR tests. 

Trying to limit the pandemic effects, the League decided to cancel the games #564 between Avtomobilist and Lokomotiv, scheduled for Jan 9. The League will follow with a final decision about the games later.

On Jan 11, Avtomobilist will undergo a further follow-up testing to determine the feasibility of the Jan 13 game against Severstal.
