Three games in three countries are on tap on a light KHL matchday.

On Boxing Day, the KHL features three games in three capitals, with Moscow, Riga, and Helsinki hosting games. CSKA welcomes Dinamo Minsk trying to climb up in the standings to reach the Western lead again. The Red Army is currently tied with Jokerit at 56 points, with SKA being at 58 and Dynamo Moscow at 57.

In Latvia, Dinamo Riga faces off with Kunlun Red Star. After an away win in Podolsk, Dinamo is seeking another win as the Vladimir Krikunov’s men will want to catch Vityaz up and move from the bottom of the standings. However, they have five players in the injury list, and it won’t be an easy game for Dinamo, with the Dragons determined to end their long losing streak.

Finally, in Helsinki, Jokerit faces Avangard – the Jokers have already defeated the Hawks this season, and they will go for an encore even if injuries are taking their toll on Lauri Marjamaki’s side. Jokerit is currently the third seed of the Western Conference, and a win over the defending champs would get them tied with SKA at 58 points.
