The KHL returns after the Euro Hockey Tour’s second stage with ten teams hitting the ice on an exciting KHL Monday!

The KHL matchday starts early in the Eastern Conference, with the third Far East derby of the season. Admiral won both editions, and Amur will want to win to recover points and places in sight of the playoff. In the East, Kunlun Red Star hosts Salavat Yulaev with the Dragons trying to revert the trend after being on a five-game losing streak.

The action then moves to the Western Conference. After a couple of losses, Jokerit returns to Helsinki as it faces a challenging opponent – CSKA. The Red Army players had a good showing at the Channel One Cup, but the Jokers will also be on the lookout to return to the West’s top place, even if they will have several players watching the game from the stands.

Dinamo Riga then hosts its namesake from Minsk on an exciting showdown in Latvia, with Riga trying to return to victory and the Belarussians willing to return on the right side of the playoff line.

In the remaining match of an exciting KHL Monday, SKA hosts Spartak with the Muscovites in excellent shape before the pause.
