The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the Regular Season’s fourteenth week in four categories.

Last week, the League’s teams played 41 games, with 572 players (42 goalies, 187 defensemen, and 343 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 5.00 goals per game.

— Best goalie for the first time in his career was Pyotr Kochetkov (Torpedo), who won three games from three last week. The Torpedo goalie faced 73 shots, or 24.3 per night, posting a saves percentage of 94.52 and a goals-against average of 1.34. Kochetkov succeeds Stanislav Galimov, who was the most recent Torpedo goalie to be awarded Best goalie honors in 2017-2018 3rd week.

— Best defenseman for the first time in his career was Yegor Voronkov (Vityaz), who scored 4 (0+4) points in three games last week, accumulating a plus-5 differential. Voronkov also recorded two hits and blocked two shots. He logged an average time on ice of 20 minutes and 47 seconds.

— Best forward for the first time in his career was Jakob Lilja (Barys), who scored 5 (5+0) points last week, posting no negative ratings and compiling a plus-4 differential. Lilja scored two doubles, including two game-winners, and also blocked three shots.

— Best rookie for the third time in his career was goalie Vladimir Galkin (Avtomobilist), who won one game of two last week. Galkin faced 56 shots, or 28 per night, posting a saves percentage of 98.21% and a goals-against average of 0.50. In Avtomobilist’s 2:0 win over Lokomotiv, Galkin recorded his first KHL shutout, with a 28-save performance.
