The Jokers lost to Lokomotiv on Wednesday, and they are seeking revenge on home soil after another defeat against CSKA. Dinamo Riga is also on a losing streak and will host the Red Army. Nine games in four countries are on tap in an action-packed KHL Sunday.

The rivalry between Jokerit and Lokomotiv goes on with another highly anticipated game today. On Wednesday, the two Western Conference sides had an exciting game, won by the Railwaymen after an OT goal by defenseman Alexander Yelesin. Despite the losses, a couple of Jokerit players are in a hot streak – Brian O’Neill and Nicklas Jensen.

Dinamo Riga is also on a losing streak, and they face CSKA at home today. It won’t be easy for the Latvian franchise, but never say never.

The KHL matchday starts early with a couple of showdowns in the Russian Far East, with Admiral hosting HC Sochi and Amur welcoming Salavat Yulaev. In Novosibirsk, playoff hopes are on stake when the local Sibir hosts Avtomobilist on home soil.

KHL fans will also enjoy two derbies today, with Neftekhimik hosting Ak Bars in Tatarstan, and Spartak welcoming Dynamo in Moscow. Dinamo Minsk faces Traktor and Kunlun Red Star hosts Metallurg in the two remaining games. Both the Eastern sides face-off against slumping sides – it won’t be easy for the Western Conference teams to stay up and fight for a playoff spot.
