Last year, Dinamo Riga had a sensational win in Kazan, and today, the Latvian franchise will try to repeat history on a KHL Monday featuring four games in Russia and Kazakhstan.

The KHL matchday starts in the Eastern Conference with Barys hosting Dinamo Minsk. The Belarusian franchise is not in its best shape lately, while Barys is coming off a strong-will victory in Cherepovets.

The action then moves to Ufa, with Salavat Yulaev trying to return to a winning streak facing Torpedo. The Nizhny Novgorod side is missing two critical import players, and it won't be easy for David Nemirovsky's men to get points in Bashkortostan.

In Nizhnekamsk, SKA will also try to interrupt its record-breaking losing streak - the Armymen never lost six games in a row, and they will look out for an away win against Neftekhimik. However, the home goalie Alexander Sudnitsin is on a red-hot streak, and SKA will likely have to make an extra effort to get the puck to the net.

Finally, Dinamo Riga moves to Kazan. Last year, an OT goal by JC Lipon - now representing HC Sochi - gifted the Riga side a sensational win. Today, Dinamo will try to repeat history and end Kazan's four-game winning streak.
