On Sunday, Nov 21, the 2022 Fonbet All-Star Game fan poll ended. The League announces the first participants.

11,722 fans expressed their choices in the two-week poll to choose the participants for the 2022 Fonbet KHL All-Star Game scheduled for Jan 15-16 in Chelyabinsk.

Team Eurasia
Goalie: Alexei Kolosov (Dinamo Minsk, 3,777 votes, first-time appearance);
Defenseman: Janis Jaks (HC Sochi, 2,544, first-time appearance);
Forwards: Ilya Usov (Dinamo Minsk, 3,146, first-time appearance), Nikita Mikhailis (2,927, first-time appearance).

Team North America
Goalie: Edward Pasquale (Lokomotiv, 3,262, first-time appearance);
Defenseman: Mat Robinson (SKA, 1,540, fifth appearance);
Forwards: Corban Knight (Avangard, 1,670, first-time appearance), Philippe Maillet (Metallurg, 1,287, first-time appearance).

Team Russia
Goalie: Dmitry Shikin (Avtomobilist, 1,393, first-time appearance);
Defenseman: Grigory Panin (Salavat Yulaev, 1,744, first-time appearance);
Forwards: Vadim Shipachyov (Dynamo Moscow, 2,397, sixth appearance), Ivan Nikolishin (1,354, first-time appearance).

Team Scandinavia
Goalie: Juha Metsola (Salavat Yulaev, 1,632, fourth appearance);
Defenseman: Oliwer Kaski (Avangard, 1,297, first-time appearance);
Forwards: Teemu Hartikainen (Salavat Yulaev, 1,866, first-time appearance), Niko Ojamaki (Vityaz, 1,617, first-time appearance).

On Nov 22, the press representatives will start their voting. Another three players for each team will be added to the rosters. To vote, the accredited press representatives should access the KHL media portal and check the “Voting” section, open until Nov 26 at 10:00 (Moscow Time).

The remaining players will be selected by the League. Each team will comprise two goalies, nine skaters, and two coaches. The League will name the final rosters exactly one month to the 2022 Fonbet All-Star Game, on Tuesday, Dec 14.

44 players will be picked to skate in the event. The best player from the 2022 JHL Challenge Cup will automatically be added to the Team Russia roster.
