The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the Regular Season’s seventh week in four categories.

Last week, the League’s teams played 36 games, with 567 players (39 goalies, 189 defensemen, and 339 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 5,86 goals per game.

— Best goalie for the third time in his career was Simon Hrubec (Avangard), who won three games of three last week. The Czech netminder faced 96 shots, or 32 per night, posting a saves percentage of 94.79% and a GAA of 1.67.

— Best defenseman for second time in his career was Nick Bailen (Traktor), who won four games from four with his team last week. The blueliner scored 4 (1+3) points, compiling a plus-4 differential. Bailen also recorded five hits, blocked two shots, and netted the game-winner in the Oct 12 game against Admiral.

— Best forward for the first time in his career was Marat Khairullin (Neftekhimik), who scored 8 (5+3) points in three games last week. Moreover, the forward posted no negative ratings, ending the week being plus-6. Khairullin posted doubles in the games against Jokerit (6:3) and Severstal (5:6 OT), netting the game-winner against the Jokers on Oct 12.

— Best rookie for the second time in his career was forward Dmitry Rashevsky (Dynamo Moscow), who scored 3 (3+0) points in last week’s three games. The forward posted an average time on ice of 15 minutes and 24 seconds and recorded four hits.
