The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the Regular Season’s fifth week in four categories.

Last week, the League’s teams played 36 games, with 572 players (41 goalies, 192defensemen, and 339 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 5,19 goals per game.

— Best goalie for the second time in his career was Alexei Krasikov (Spartak), who won two games. He faced 60 shots, or 30 per game, posting a saves percentage of 98.99% and a goals-against average of 0.50. Krasikov posted his first shutout of the season in Spartak’s 2-0 win over Severstal. He was already awarded Goalie of the week on 2019-2020’s 23rd week.

— Best defenseman for first time in his career was Anton Lindholm (Dinamo Minsk), who won three games of three with his team last week. Lindholm posted 4 (0+4) points, had no negative ratings with a total plus-6 differential, recorded five hits, and blocked one shot.

— Best forward for the second time in his career was Stanislav Galiyev (Dynamo Moscow), who won three games from four with his team last week. Galiyev had 7 (4+3) points, potting the game-winner in the games against Kunlun Red Star (5:3) and Barys. Galiyev was awarded Forward of the week for the first time on 2019-2020’s 22nd week.

— Best rookie for the first time in his career was forward Alexander Suvorov (Dinamo Minsk), who won three games from three with his team last week.
