The Green Derby returns as Ak Bars hosts Salavat Yulaev in the first rivalry clash of 2021-2022. In Moscow, Dynamo will try to stop Metallurg's fantastic winning streak. Barys will then seek its first-ever win in Yaroslavl. The KHL matchday will also see other games in St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Sochi.

When Ak Bars and Salavat Yulaev meet, the temperature on the ice is always high, and this time it will be no different as the Green sides clash for the first time this season. Both teams are high in the Eastern Conference standings, and their coach will want a win to boost the morale and gain precious points.

Lokomotiv and Barys will clash in Yaroslavl for another exciting match - the Kazakhs never won against the Motormen in an away game, and several of the side's top players are in excellent shape. However, Lokomotiv has started well under its new coach Igor Nikitin, and they come from two consecutive wins.

Excitement is also going to be very high in Moscow, where Dynamo welcomes Metallurg. The Blue-and-Whites won their latest three games, but Magnitka is on an incredible winning streak, second only to Jokerit's.

In the other three games of the night, SKA hosts Neftekhimik, Spartak faces Severstal, and HC Sochi will play its first match under his new head coach, Andrei Nazarov, against Dinamo Minsk.
