The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the Regular Season’s fourth month in four categories.

In December, the League’s teams played a total of 112 games, with 666 players (58 goalies, 222 defensemen, and 386 forwards) taking part in the action.

— Best goalie was Alexander Yeryomenko (Dynamo Moscow), who won six of six games in December, including two shutouts. Yeryomenko faced 184 shots on goal, or 30.7 per night, saving 96.7%. The Dynamo Moscow goalie had a goals-against average of 0.99 and a shutout streak of 137 minutes and 50 seconds.

— Best defenseman was Stepan Falkovsky (Dinamo Minsk), who won four games of nine with his team, scoring 6 (3+3) points, including the game-winning goal against CSKA. He finished the month with a plus-6 rating. Falkovsky had eight shots on goal, recorded eleven hits, and blocked eight shots.

— Best forward was Stephane Da Costa (Ak Bars), who won eight of nine games with his team, scoring 16 (8+8) points and having a plus-6 rating. The Kazan forward scored doubles against Jokerit (4-1) and Dynamo Moscow (7-2). Da Costa also recorded four hits and blocked eight shots.

— Best rookie was forward Ivan Chekhovich (Torpedo), who scored 10 (6+4) points in 11 games, with a plus-7 rating. The 21-years-old forward scored points in seven matches, had 32 shots on goal, logged an average time on ice of 17 minutes and 49 seconds, and blocked ten shots.
