The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best player of the sixth month of the Regular Season – February – in four categories.

- Best goalie was Ivan Fedotov (Traktor), who won three of six games in the past month, including two shutouts. Allowing no goals to Admiral and Sibir, the Chelyabinsk netminder earned his second and third shutout in the KHL, respectively. Fedotov stopped 95.27% of the shots he faced (a total of 148, or 24.7 per game) with a goals-against average of 1.41. Fedotov had a shutout streak of 146 minutes and 44 seconds (best result in February).

- Best defenseman was Vasily Tokranov (SKA), who won eight games with his team, scoring 8 (4+4) points. The St. Petersburg defenseman produced points in six matches, scoring a hat-trick against Salavat Yulaev (including the game-winning goal). Tokranov posted no negative ratings, ending the month being plus-8. He also recorded 7 hits and blocked 4 shots from the opposition.

- Best forward was Kirill Kaprizov (CSKA), who won six from eight games with his team, scoring eight goals (best result of the month) and three helpers, with a plus-minus rating of plus-9. The Red Army forward scored points in six games, posting three consecutive doubles (against Lokomotiv and twice against Dinamo Minsk). He had 29 shots on goal and recorded 3 hits.

- Best rookie was forward Dmitry Voronkov (Ak Bars), who won six from nine games with his team, scoring 6 (2+4) points. Both his goals (against Dinamo Riga and Avangard) were game-winners. The 19-years-old Kazan forward posted no negative ratings, had an average time on ice of 14 minutes and 22 seconds, had 13 shots on goal, and recorded 10 hits.
