The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the eleventh week of the Regular Season in four categories.

- best goalie was Ilya Sorokin (CSKA), who won two road games last week, including one shutout, allowing just one goal. His shutout against SKA was the fifth of the season for the Red Army goalie. Sorokin posted a saves percentage of 97.56% with a goals-against average of only 0.50 (both the figures were the best last week).

- best defenseman was Yakov Rylov (Spartak), who won all three games with his team last week, scoring 5 (1+4) points. The Red-and-Whites defenseman posted no negative ratings, ending the week plus-4, and scored points in all the games.

- best forward was Corban Knight (Barys), who won two of three road games with his team scoring 6 (3+3) points (best numbers of the week) and posting a plus-3 rating. The Kazakh club’s forward also posted the game-winning goal against Traktor.

- best rookie was defenseman Akim Trishin (Spartak), who won all three games with his team last week. The 20-years-old blueliner posted no negative ratings, pending the week being plus-1. On Dec. 20, against HC Sochi, Trishin scored his debut goal in the KHL. The Spartak’s defenseman had an average time on ice of 10 minutes and 25 seconds and recorded two hits.
