CSKA Moscow and Neftyanik (VHL) completed a trade, according to which goaltender Andrei Filonenko will move to Almetievsk and the Red Army club will receive a monetary compensation.
Kunlun Red Star signed a two-way, two-year deal with forward Cory Kane.
SKA St. Petersburg signed defenseman Andrei Zubarev to a new one-way, two-year contract.
Avangard Omsk and Metallurg Magnitogorsk completed a trade: defenseman Nikita Pivtsakin will return to Omsk, while Metallurg will get the rights on forward Pavel Varfolomeyev. Pivtsakin already played for Avangard from 2009/2010 to 2014/2015.
Moreover, Metallurg Magnitogorsk also inked forward Arkhip Nekolenko to a two-way, two-year deal. Earlier this week, the KHL & FHR Joint Disciplinary Committee voided Nekolenko’s contract with Yugra (VHL).
