Experienced defenseman Evgeny Ryasensky, 30, who won a World Championship gold with Russia in 2012 and was part of the championship-winning Ak Bars side of 2005-06, has signed a tryout deal with Traktor after two-and-a-half seasons at Neftekhimik.
Avtomobilist has given a tryout contract to forward Ivan Kashtanov. The 20-year-old, who three years ago played in the OHL for the Sudbury Wolves, spent the 2016-17 campaign in Moscow with CSKA, for whom he made three regular season appearances.
Avangard has agreed to trade forward Artur Lauta to Ugra in exchange for financial compensation. Previously, the 21-year-old Omsk native won silver with Russia at the World U20 Championship in 2016, and spent part of the 2012-13 season playing for the Little Caesars U18 in the High Performance Hockey League.
