Today premium tyre maker Hankook officially signed the partnership agreement with KHL in Ufa, Russian Federation. The initially three-year agreement with KHL will take effect in January 2017 and will include a range of further marketing rights including board and TV advertising.
The agreement was concluded for an initial duration period of three seasons with a possibility of further prolongation. The large scale partnership enables Hankook to strengthen its engagement and reach out to consumers around the world, especially in the Russian Federation and the other seven countries that the KHL clubs represent – Belarus, Croatia, Finland, Kazakhstan, Latvia, People’s Republic of China and Slovakia.
The contract testifies to the common values of Hankook and KHL. Both sides make efforts aimed at further development: KHL – for the benefit of the sport and ice hockey fans, and Hankook – for satisfaction of motorists’ needs all over the world.
“Hankook is a dynamic brand, and this is why we so eagerly support sports events. For Hankook not only increasing audience but also having premium image is an important brand task and ice hockey sports have premium target audience to do so. We believe that this cooperation will be fruitful for both sides,” said Kim Jong Woo, Managing Director at Hankook Tire Russia.
