October’s finest: Kasutin, Chudinov, Panarin and Nalimov
To mark the end of the second month’s play of the seventh season of the Championship, the Kontinental Hockey League has named the best players of the month in four categories.

Best goaltender was
Ivan Kasutin (Torpedo), who in twelve gam recorded nine victories, one shutout, a goals against average of 1.54 and a save percentage of 94.00;

Best defenseman was
Maxim Chudinov (SKA), with 6 points (1+5) from 12 appearances and a +11 for the month;

Best forward was
Artemy Panarin (SKA), with a haul of 17 points (10+7), including four game-winning goals, from 13 outings and a +7;

Best rookie was 20-year-old Admiral goalie
Ivan Nalimov, who played in 7 games and finished the month with three wins, one shutout, a GAA of 2.51 and a %Sv of 92.15.
