The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the 2026 Gagarin Cup playoffs’ second round in four categories.
The League’s teams played 18 games in the first-round series, with 189 players (13 goalies, 60 defensemen, and 116 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 4.61 goals per game.
- Best goalie for the fourth time in his career was Daniil Isayev (Lokomotiv), who won four games from four against Salavat Yulaev. The Railwaymen’s netminder faced 109 shots throughout the series, or 27.3 per night, posting a 98.17% saves percentage and a goals-against average of 0.50. Isayev recorded shutouts in three of the four games in the series against Lokomotiv.
- Best defenseman for the first time in his career was Nikita Lyamkin (Ak Bars), who scored 5 (2+3) points in five games against Dinamo Minsk, with a plus-6 differential. The Kazan blueliner also delivered one hit, blocked twelve shots, and had three takeaways.
- Best forward for the second time in his career was Konstantin Okulov (Avangard), who scored 7 (4+3) points in five games against CSKA, ending the series with a plus-4 differential. Two of the four goals scored by the Hawks’ forward proved to be game-winning goals for his team. He also blocked three shots.
- Best rookie for the first time in his career was 21-years-old defenseman Stepan Terekhov (Ak Bars), who scored 2 (1+1) points in four games against Dinamo Minsk, ending the series with a plus-2 differential. The blueliner also blocked eight hosts and made two pass interceptions.
