Best Players of the 2025-2026 twenty-third week

The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the 2025-2026 Regular Season’s twenty-third week in four categories.

The League’s teams played 29 games last week, with 514 players (34 goalies, 172 defensemen, and 308 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 4.9 goals per game.

- Best goalie for the fourth time in his career was Sergei Ivanov (SKA), who won two games from two last week. The St. Petersburg goalie faced 64 shots, or 32 per game, posting a 100% saves percentage and a goals-against average of 0.00. Ivanov posted consecutive shutouts in games against Salavat Yulaev on Monday (4:0) and against CSKA on Saturday (3:0).

- Best defenseman for the first time in his career was Ivan Mishchenko (Amur), who scored 5 (2+3) points in four games last week, with a plus-4 differential. He also delivered nine hits, blocked six shots, and had two takeaways.

- Best forward for the second time in his career was Nathan Todd (Spartak), who scored 5 (3+2) points in three games last week, with a plus-4 rating. Todd netted the game-winning goal in Thursday’s Spartak win over Lada (4:2). He also delivered one hit and blocked two shots.

- Best rookie for the fifth time in his career was 21-years-old forward Matvei Polyakov (SKA), who scored 2 (1+1) points in three games last week. He also delivered one hit, blocked one shot, and made one pass interception.
