Best Players of the 2025-2026 twenty-first week

The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the 2025-2026 Regular Season’s twenty-first week in four categories.

The League’s teams played 18 games last week, with 460 players (31 goalies, 150 defensemen, and 279 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 5.06 goals per game.

- Best goalie for the fourth time in his career was Denis Kostin (Torpedo), who won two games from two last week. The Nizhny Novgorod goalie faced 55 shots, or 27.5 per game, posting a 94.55% saves percentage and a goals-against average of 1.46.

- Best defenseman for the first time in his career was Robert Hamilton (Dinamo Minsk), who scored 3 (2+1) points in two games last week, with a plus-5 differential. He also blocked one shot and made two pass interceptions.

- Best forward for the fourth time in his career was Stanislav Galiyev (Dinamo Minsk), who scored 4 (2+2) points in two games last week, with a plus-4 rating. The Minsk veteran forward also made one pass interception.

- Best rookie for the third time in his career was 21-years-old forward Oleg Maistrenko (CSKA), who scored 1 (1+0) point in two games last week. He potted the game-winning goal in CSKA’s win over HC Sochi on Tuesday (3:1). The forward also delivered five hits, blocked three shots, and made one pass interception.
