Best Players of the 2025-2026 sixteenth week
The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the 2025-2026 Regular Season’s sixteenth week in four categories.
The League’s teams played 18 games last week, with 475 players (32 goalies, 156 defensemen, and 287 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 6.11 goals per game.
- Best goalie for the fifth time in his career was Daniil Isayev (Lokomotiv), who won one game from two last week. The Yaroslavl goalie posted a 98.08% saves percentage and a goals-against average of 0.48. In Dec. 30’s Lokomotiv win over Torpedo (1:0), Isayev posted his third shutout of the season, while on Sunday he celebrated a SO win over CSKA (2:1 SO).
- Best defenseman for the first time in his career was Nikita Kamalov (Severstal), who scored 3 (0+3) points in two games last week, with a plus-3 differential. The Cherepovets defenseman also blocked two shots.
- Best forward for the second time in his career was Roman Kantserov (Metallurg), who scored 6 (3+3) points in two games last week, with a plus-5 rating. The Magnitogorsk forward also delivered one hit, blocked one shot, had one takeaway and made one pass interception.
- Best rookie for the first time in his career was 21-years-old defenseman Stepan Terekhov (Ak Bars), who scored 1 (0+1) point in two games last week, with a plus-2. The Kazan defenseman also blocked two shots.
