Best Players of the 2025-2026 twelfth week

The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the 2025-2026 Regular Season’s twelfth week in four categories.

The League’s teams played 25 games last week, with 503 players (33 goalies, 164 defensemen, and 306 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 6.00 goals per game.

- Best goalie for the first time in his career was Artyom Zagidulin (Spartak), who won two games from two last week. The Red-and-Whites’ goalie faced 67 shots, or 33.5 per game, with a save percentage of 98.51% and a goals-against average of 0.50. In Thursday’s Spartak win over Ak Bars (1:0), Zagidulin posted his second shutout of the season.

- Best defenseman for the third time in his career was Grigory Dronov (Traktor), who scored 4 (2+2) points in two games last week, with a plus-6 differential. The Chelyabinsk defenseman also recorded one hit, blocked one shot, made one pass interception, and had one takeaway.

- Best forward for the first time in his career was Brendan Leipsic (SKA), who scored 6 (5+1) points in three games last week, with a plus-1 differential. The St. Petersburg forward potted the game-winning goal against Severstal on Friday (6:4). He also delivered one hit, blocked three shots, made one pass interception, and had one takeaway.

- Best rookie for the third time in his career was 19-years-old defenseman Ivan Patrikhayev (CSKA), who scored 1 (1+0) point in two games last week. His goal against Lada on Saturday was the game-winner for CSKA (4:2). He also delivered one hit and had two takeaways while logging an average time on ice of 18 minutes and 17 seconds.
