Best Players of the 2025-2026 seventh week

The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the 2025-2026 Regular Season’s seventh week in four categories.

The League’s teams played 26 games last week, with 501 players (39 goalies, 163 defensemen, and 299 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 5.84 goals per game.

- Best goalie for the first time in his career was Semyon Vyazovoi (Salavat Yulaev), who won three games from three last week. The Ufa goalie faced 78 shots, or 26 per game, with a save percentage of 93.59% and a goals-against average of 1.68.

- Best defenseman for the second time in his career was Ioannis Kaldis (Severstal), who scored 4 (2+2) points in three games last week, with a plus-3 differential. The Cherepovets blueliner potted the game-winning goal in Thursday’s Severstal win over Avangard (4:3 OT). He also delivered three hits and blocked four shots.

- Best forward for the first time in his career was Nathan Todd (Spartak), who scored 5 (4+1) points in three games last week. The Red-and-Whites’ forward scored doubles in Spartak’s wins over the Shanghai Dragons (7:6 SO) and HC Sochi (5:3). He also recorded one hit and made one pass interception.

- Best rookie for the first time in his career was 18-years-old forward Alexander Zharovsky (Salavat Yulaev), who scored 2 (2+0) points in three games last week. The Ufa forward also blocked two shots, made one pass interception, and had three takeaways.
