Best Players of the 2025-2026 sixth week

The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the 2025-2026 Regular Season’s sixth week in four categories.

The League’s teams played 28 games last week, with 504 players (40 goalies, 164 defensemen, and 300 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 5.85 goals per game.

- Best goalie for the second time in his career was Maxim Dorozhko (Amur), who won two games from three last week. The Khabarovsk goalie faced 116 shots, or 38.7 per game, with a save percentage of 95.69% and a goals-against average of 1.62. Dorozhko celebrated his third shutout of the season in Friday’s Amur win over Lada (3:0).

- Best defenseman for the ninth time in his career was Damir Sharipzyanov (Avangard), who scored 4 (2+2) points in three games last week, with a plus-4 differential. The Omsk goalie also delivered two hits, blocked six shots, made one pass interception, and had one takeaway. Sharipzyanov equaled Kevin Dallman’s record for the most Defenseman of the Week awards.

- Best forward for the first time in his career was German Tochilkin (Neftekhimik), who scored 5 (4+1) points in three games last week. Tochilkin also made six hits, blocked four shots, made one pass interception, and had one takeaway. In Wednesday's game against SKA (3:2 SO), Tochilkin scored the game-winning shootout, while he potted doubles in games against Dinamo Minsk (4:3 OT) and Metallurg (6:9).

- Best rookie for the first time in his career was forward Ilya Kvochko (Severstal), who scored 2 (2+0) points in three games last week. The Cherepovets forward also blocked three shots, made one pass interception, and had two takeaways. In Monday's game against Lokomotiv, Kvochko netted the game-winning goal (4:3).
