Best Players of the 2024-2025 twenty-seventh week

The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the 2024-2025 Regular Season’s twenty-seventh week in four categories.

The League’s teams played 30 games last week, with 540 players (42 goalies, 179 defensemen, and 319 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 6.03 goals per game.

- Best goalie for the first time in his career was Yegor Zavragin (SKA), who won two games from two last week. The St. Petersburg goalie faced 53 shots, or 26.5 per game, posting a save percentage of 98.11% and a goals-against average of 0.50. In Friday’s SKA 2:0 win over HC Sochi, Zavragin posted his third shutout of the season.

- Best defenseman for the second time in his career was Alexei Maklyukov (Metallurg), who scored 2 (1+1) points in two games last week. The Magnitogorsk defenseman ended the week with a plus-4 rating. Maklyukov also made one hit, blocked one shot, and had one takeaway. Moreover, he potted the game-winning goal in Saturday’s Metallurg 7:1 win against Kunlun Red Star.

- Best forward for the first time in his career was Oleg Li (Amur), who scored 6 (5+1) points in three games last week, with a plus-5 differential. In Saturday’s Amur 5:2 victory over Barys, he potted his first KHL hat-trick. The forward also made two hits, blocked one shot, and had one takeaway.

- Best rookie for the first time in his career was forward Daniil Davydov (Severstal), who scored 2 (1+1) points in three games last week, with a plus-2 differential. The Cherepovets forward also had one takeaway and made one pass interception.
