Best Players of the 2024-2025 twenty-sixth week

The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the 2024-2025 Regular Season’s twenty-sixth week in four categories.

The League’s teams played 27 games last week, with 529 players (35 goalies, 176 defensemen, and 318 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 4.52 goals per game.

- Best goalie for the fifth time in his career was Nikita Serebryakov (Avangard), who won two games from two last week. The Omsk goalie faced 62 shots, or 31 per game, posting a save percentage of 96.77% and a goals-against average of 1.00. In Saturday’s 2:0 win over Ak Bars, Serebryakov posted his second shutout of the season.

- Best defenseman for the seventh time in his career was Alexander Nikishin (SKA), who scored 5 (2+3) points in two games last week. The St. Petersburg defenseman ended the week with a plus-3 rating. Nikishin also made three hits, blocked three shots, and had five takeaways. Moreover, he potted the game-winning goal in Tuesday’s SKA 3:2 OT win against CSKA.

- Best forward for the first time in his career was Vadim Moroz (Dinamo Minsk), who scored 5 (3+2) points in three games last week, with a plus-2 differential. In Wednesday’s Dinamo Minsk 4:2 victory over Lada, he potted the game-winning goal. The forward also made two hits, blocked four shots, and had one takeaway.

- Best rookie for the third time in his career was forward Nikita Khoruzhev (Neftekhimik), who scored 2 (1+1) points in two games last week, with a plus-2 differential. The Wolves’ forward also recorded one hit, blocked one shot, and had one takeaway. Khoruzhev also potted the game-winning goal in the last second of regulation time in Neftekhimik’s win over Admiral on Thursday (3:2).
