Best Players of the 2024-2025 nineteenth week

The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the 2024-2025 Regular Season’s nineteenth week in four categories.

The League’s teams played 29 games last week, with 542 players (42 goalies, 178 defensemen, and 322 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 5.69 goals per game.

- Best goalie for the sixth time in his career was Evgeny Alikin (Avtomobilist), who won two games from two last week. The Yekaterinburg goalie faced 53 shots, or 26.5 per game, with a save percentage of 94.34% and a goals-against average of 1.51. Alikin is the eleventh goalie in the history of the league to be awarded the Best of the week at least six times.

- Best defenseman for the sixth time in his career was Trevor Murphy (Sibir), who scored 6 (1+5) points in four games last week. The Novosibirsk defenseman also made three hits, blocked three shots, and had two takeaways. Murphy is the sixth blueliner in the history of the league to be awarded the Best of the week at least six times.

- Best forward for the eighth time in his career and for the first time since the fifth week of the 2014-2015 season was Alexander Radulov (Lokomotiv), who scored 5 (4+1) points in two games last week, with a plus-3 differential. The Yaroslavl forward potted the game-winning goal in Sunday’s Lokomotiv road win over Barys (3:0).

- Best rookie for the sixth time in his career was Ivan Demidov (SKA), who scored 4 (2+2) points in two games last week. He also made one hit, blocked one shot, and had one takeaway. Demidov equalized Eeli Tolvanen’s record, who was awarded the best rookie of the week honors six times back in the 2017-2018 season.
