The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the 2024-2025 Regular Season’s eighteenth week in four categories.
The League’s teams played 30 games last week, with 539 players (40 goalies, 178 defensemen, and 321 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 5.67 goals per game.
- Best goalie for the second time in his career was Patrik Rybar (Kunlun Red Star), who won one game from two last week, with another SO victory. The Dragons’ goalie faced 65 shots, or 32.5 per game, with a save percentage of 96.62% and a goals-against average of 0.96. In Friday’s Kunlun Red Star win over CSKA (3:0), Rybar posted his first shutout with his new team.
- Best defenseman for the first time in his career was Timofei Davydov (Severstal), who scored 3 (0+3) points in three games last week, with a plus-7 differential. The Cherepovets defenseman also made six hits, had three takeaways, and made one pass interception.
- Best forward for the first time in his career was Spencer Foo (Kunlun Red Star), who scored 6 (3+3) points in three games last week, with a plus-6 differential. The Dragons’ forward potted the game-winning goal in his team’s win over CSKA, made one pass interception and had two takeaways.
- Best rookie for the first time in his career was Artyom Nabiyev (Salavat Yulaev), who scored 2 (2+0) points in three games, with a plus-1 differential. He also made one hit and blocked three shots.
