Dear friends!
I’d sincerely like to wish all of you a Happy New Year.
For each of us these holidays evoke memories of happy times among a warm circle of family and friends. I hope you will each make your most cherished wish as the chimes strike, and that 2025 will fulfil your desires.
In spite of everything, the past year brought us many moments of joy and happiness – success of our favorites teams, personal victories and significant achievements. Hockey is a reflection of our lives in which everyone who works honestly and gives their all will surely get results. Let 2025 be the starting point for your success, which will grow with each passing day.
I’d like to wish everyone faith in themselves, well-being, spiritual happiness and success along the path of life. Happy holidays!
With best wishes,
Gennady Timchenko, Chairman of the KHL board of directors
Dear colleagues and partners, dear friends!
The passing year was very memorable and successful – both in terms of hockey, and in terms of our projects to develop the league. The KHL is progressing every day, and all of you – players, coaches, partners and fans alike – have played a big part in that.
In 2024 we shared a lot of memorable moments. With bated breath, we followed the most unpredictable playoffs in the League’s history, we gave millions of fans backstage access to the Gagarin Cup final for the first time, we extended our season in May, launched a 3x3 tournament and brought top-level hockey to the welcoming city of Tashkent. In spring, we all congratulated Metallurg as it became one of the youngest champion teams in history by winning the Gagarin Cup. This year introduced many talented young players to the hockey public and saw them emerge into leading roles.
I’m grateful to you, our dear fans, for your support – it means a lot to all of us. Thanks to you, our players are inspired to play attractive hockey, to thrill you with goals and victories, and then to share that joy with you. May all your cherished hockey dreams come true in the New Year!
Happy New Year!
Best regards,
KHL President Alexei Morozov.
