Best Players of the 2024-2025 fourteenth week

The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the 2024-2025 Regular Season’s fourteenth week in four categories.

The League’s teams played 34 games last week, with 559 players (44 goalies, 188 defensemen, and 327 forwards) taking part in the action. The scoring was at 5.74 goals per game.

- Best goalie for the second time in his career was Ivan Prosvetov (CSKA), who won two games from three last week, with his team achieving another SO win. The CSKA goalie faced 72 shots, or 24 per game, with a save percentage of 95.83% and a goals-against average of 0.98.

- Best defenseman for the second time in his career was Nikita Lyamkin (Ak Bars), who scored 5 (0+5) points in three games last week, with a plus-6 differential. He also blocked six shots, made one pass interception and had three takeaways.

- Best forward for the first time in his career was Roman Kantserov (Metallurg), who scored 6 (5+1) points in three games last week, with a plus-2 differential. The Metallurg forward posted a hat-trick in Thursday’s Metallurg win over Lada, including netting the game-winner. Kantserov also made seven hits, recorded two pass interceptions and had one takeaway.

- Best rookie for the first time in his career was forward Nikita Khoruzhev (Neftekhimik), who scored 3 (0+3) points in two games last week, with a plus-2 differential. He also blocked two shots, made two pass interceptions, and had two takeaways.
