Big matchday in the Eastern Conference!

Preview
Six games are on tap on an exciting KHL Thursday. Barys will play his first game after David Nemirovsky’s dismissal as the team returns to Astana.

The KHL matchday starts with two games in the Far East, with Amur hosting CSKA and Admiral welcoming Vityaz as the two sides meet for the second time this season. The two Eastern teams are in different positions, with the Sailors on an active winning streak, and Amur losing its latest couple of matches.

The East will feature another three games: Sibir entertains HC Sochi seeking a sixth straight win, Barys hosts Dynamo Moscow, while Neftekhimik faces Avtomobilist. In Astana, the Kazakhs will play their first game after David Nemirovsky’s firing – the boards were disappointing with the start of the campaign, with just one win in seven games.

In the lone game of the Western Conference, Kunlun Red Star hosts Torpedo, with both teams seeking a return to victory. Torpedo has lost its latest four games, but the Dragons have an unenviable streak of twelve straight losses to the Nizhny Novgorod side.
