We had good mutual understanding, and I hope we will play even more effectively next year.”

“The main reason we won was that we controlled both slots. They only scored one goal from the slot, if I remember correctly, in the fourth game. The coaching staff immediately said that if we won those two components of the game, we could confidently expect to win the series. So, we played to fulfill the tasks set by the coaching staff. To be honest, it was a bit unusual to play the kind of hockey we played against Lokomotiv, a bit more defensive. It was tough to switch from our usual style to the one that brought us victory.”
