14:00: Avtomobilist vs Metallurg

Series stand
2-3 (1:2, 4:2, 2:3 ОТ, 5:3, 2:5)

About the game
Denis Zernov netted his second career hat-trick as Magnitka achieved a 5:2 win in game five with the teams previously being tied at two. Zernov had his first pair of goals in the opening frame, but Avto once again managed to rally back and tie things up with usual suspect Anatoly Golyshev and Kirill Vorobyov. However, this time Metallurg managed to hang on and collect a victory with a powerplay goal by Daniil Vovchenko. With the Motormen pushing for another tying goal, Zernov completed his hat-trick on a fast counterattack, with Igor Geraskin sealing the deal for Magnitka in the closing stages with the empty net. Magnitka is now up 3-2 in the series, and a victory today would send the Steelmen to the final for the fifth time. However, Avto will have home ice advantage as it looks to force game seven.
Avtomobilist’s forward Anatoly Golyshev is on a two-game scoring streak, with 5 (3+2) points over that span.
Avtomobilist’s forward Alexei Makeyev had an assist in each of his latest couple of matches.
Metallurg’s forwards Igor Geraskin and Alexander Petunin are on an identical two-game scoring streak, with 3 (1+2) points.
