About the game
* It has been a terrific game four, with Magnitka going up early 3:0, then the Motormen rallying back and scoring the game-winner with 7.5 seconds left in regulation, with Igor Geraskin failing in delivering the puck to his linemates, serving instead Brooks Macek, who then dished a perfect pass to Stepan Khripunov who sent it right past Ilya Nabokov in the dying seconds of the third stanza. Anatoly Golyshev and Stephane Da Costa were instrumental again for Avtomobilist, scoring three points each. D-man Jesse Blacker also had a plus-3 differential for the Motormen, who started the game with Vladimir Galkin between the piping. The goalie was swapped for the team’s usual starter, Evgeny Alikin, after Galkin allowed two quick goals in the opening frame. Alikin ended the game with 34 saves. It will be a key game five tonight in Magnitogorsk.
