Traktor with a chance to clinch the playoffs!

Preview
Amur and Traktor will have a rematch after yesterday’s win by the Tigers with a three-point performance by Vladislav Barulin. The victory was key for Amur, who is keeping on battling out with Neftekhimik and Sibir for the eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Traktor has a chance to clinch a playoff spot, but they need to defeat Amur in regulation to make it happen.

Admiral and Barys will also face off again – yesterday the Sailors achieved a 4:2 victory despite Barys was up in the score at the game’s mid-mark. It was the eleventh straight loss for the Kazakhs, who now find themselves at the rocky bottom of the Conference’s standings.

The action then moves to the Western Conference, with two games on tap. First, Severstal hosts Spartak, with the Muscovites achieving two victories this season over the Steelers. It will be Spartak’s last road game in the current regular season, and they may have a chance to overcome Lokomotiv in the final stage of the 2023-2024 campaign.

Then, HC Sochi hosts Torpedo. The Nizhny Novgorod side has slipped down to sixth place in the standings – Severstal just surpassed the Igor Larionov’s young guns in the standings, and they will seek a return to victory after an OT loss to Neftekhimik in their last game. HC Sochi will play to please the home crowd as the Black Sea franchise has lost any chance to qualify for postseason.
